If I could convice you about the importance of «using» a language, in this podcast I will help you to use the language wherever you are from the beginning. Solo necesitas una conexión a Internet and to find the proper Spanish native (better if he/she is a teacher!)
The previous week (la semana pasada) I talked you about the importancia de usar la lengua.
If you took the challenge and you reply me in my blog using Spanish… well, you used the language.
If not, I’m going to give two easy ways to use the language thanks to Internet.
First of all, use the language with native speakers. Spanish is a widespread language, so it’s not difficult to find anyone to practise it.
Te recomiendo first writing and then speaking. In this sense, you can partipar in foros, use your Whatsapp or going to Rosetta Stone chat where you will find a lot of people interesed in exchanging language writing.
Later you can go to the next level and speak finding a language exchange in social networkgs focused on foreign languages such as Busuu, Livemocha, Babbel and then using a videoconference program like Skype or Zoom to do the exchange.
And, of course, don’t forget to speak to yourself. You can prepare a short presentation in Spanish and record your voice; then, you can send the audio to a native (if it’s a teacher better!).
Likewise, you can use Lang-8 or Italki to write short compositions in order to be corrected by a native or teacher.
And do you know what is the best of all? You can do it right now as a beginner.
¿Te he convencido? So, while you are learning Spanish in my lessons also use the language out of the class looking for real communicative situations. ¡Da gracias a Internet!
