Bienvenido o bienvenida, my dear Spanish beginner to other «Reto de la semana». Today we are going to see what’s «acento diacrítico».
We use this «acento» (called orthographically «tilde» in Spanish) to make a distinction among words that are writen in the same way but whose meaning is completely different.
General rule: monosílabos (words with one syllable) never have tilde in Spanish.
Exception: monosílabos can include tilde when it is acento diacrítico.
But… ¿what is acento diacrítico?
Reto de la semana: el acento diacrítico
ACENTÚA LAS SIGUIENTES ORACIONES
a) No se de que me habla; no me de explicaciones.
b) Te dije que el te es una bebida que no me gusta.
The solutions are in the podcast. ¡Escúchalo!
¡Thank you to the Spanish students who has participated in this reto de la semana!
How can I participate?
There are three ways:
I publish the reto in the previous channels every Monday (lunes) and I publish the solutions in my podcast every Sunday (domingo).
